The unique lodges of Sediba
Sediba is a private game lodge situated in the Welgevonden Game Reserve. The luxury and comfort of the lodge in combination with the African wilderness offer a unique experience. Sediba consists of two luxury lodges with 15 villas in total. The lodges are a 10-minute drive from each other and each have their own unique character. Please read further to find out what your stay at Sediba will be like.
Letlapa means rock in Sesotho and the lodge is situated in a valley of the reserve where a river runs through all year round. This is the larger lodge of the two, which includes 10 two-person villas. You will find, among other things, a beauty salon, sauna, gym and a library in the lodge. You can cool off in the spectacular rock swimming pool. In the winter, you can warm yourself up by the cozy open fireplace. Dining at Letlapa in the natural rock Boma (an enclosure traditionally used to enclose livestock and as fortification) is a genuine experience. As a result of the rock walls, the effects of light, smoke and fire are highlighted to an even greater extent. And don’t forget to enjoy the delicious culinary meal!
Letlapala means ‘place near the sun’ and it is the more intimate lodge of the two. The lodge includes five two-person villas. Due to the small-scale nature of this lodge, it is perfect for booking a stay with the entire family or with a group. A private lodge in the African wilderness is therefore possible at Sediba! You can have a drink at the bar or book a treatment at the beauty salon in the lodge. The swimming pool offers you a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Daydreaming is allowed!
When you enter the stylish villa, you will feel immediately at home. The design, with its keen eye for detail, is totally attuned to the African atmosphere. You can expect a spacious bedroom with a double bed, a comfortable seating area with an open fireplace and a luxury bathroom. Relax in the jacuzzi or on the sunbeds on your private veranda. The villa is a wonderful place to come home to after an intense day on the African savannah. The personal service that is provided will ensure that you’ll have everything you need during your stay at Sediba!May 27th, 2019
